The August issue of Game On! Magazine is going to be a good one. The issue will feature the first part in a series about the gaming industry and artificial intelligence.
The first part will focus on AI and voice acting. This is something that has been in the news recently with SAG-AFTRA declaring a strike against video game companies last week.
I always want to be transparent with how things are coming together. Currently, I have completed or have interviews scheduled with individuals from the National Association of Voice Actors and SAG as well as an individual who is part of representing the game companies involved in the union negotiations. I do not currently have an interview scheduled with an AI company. It hasn't been for a lack of trying. I have reached out to multiple AI companies and will continue to do so, but there is certainly the possibility that they do not get back to me or get back to me at a later time. It is always my goal to provide the most well-rounded story that I can produce for you and if and when AI companies respond, I will share their point of view with all of you.
I am excited about how the second issue is taking shape. I hope you will enjoy this one.
Thank you for all of your feedback about the debut issue. I will do my best to make sure Game On! Magazine gets even better!
